On another note, how was your Labor Day Weekend?? Did you do something active and fun?! I can't believe summer is almost over, but I'm excited to pull out my fall wardrobe with scarves and sweaters and start enjoying some of those yummy fall foods! As you know, I was in Boston, MA for Sam's sister's wedding this weekend (Congrats Sarah!). It was such a great weekend, and I have a couple little stories/lessons from the weekend to share with you in my next post. So stay tuned! Here's a little teaser...
Let me introduce you to... the lobster roll... I ate it, and I loved it.
I was writing this post while watching Jackie Warner's new show on Bravo, Thintervention. It's one of my new favorite shows! I definitely recommend adding this to your list of "shows to TiVo."
Add a dash of lemon juice to your water.
It's that simple! By doing this you will burn
75-100 more calories a day since it speeds up your metabolism, helps detoxify
your liver, and aids in digestion. If you have morning tea or coffee, instead opt for
hot water + lemon juice.

Hey Ange! What a bummer that you don't get Thintervention yet! Do you usually start to get shows a few weeks or months later than in the US? Well, I will try not to spoil any of the excitement for you, but it looks like it's going to be a really good show.
I haven't tried Warner's body circuit DVD, but I love her workout philisophy... power circuit training. I will have to check that out, thanks for the tip! Enjoy your week too!

I didn't catch that show since we don't have the network. I like that they don't have TONS to lose though. I think it will make it more interesting to see the changes from overweight to really fit...unlike super obese to less obese. I love The Biggest Loser and do watch it, but I always miss the earlier seasons and how the contestants weren't 500 lbs!
@ Nicole ~ No I never tried the woopie pie! I guess that gives me a reason to go back... plus I want to have that lobster roll again.. sooo good
@Jen~ Yes, the lobster roll was definitely worth leaving the vegan diet behind for a moment... I just had half of one, but it was delish! So unbelievably fresh, and I can't believe how cheap lobster is up there!
@ Tina ~ I completley agree with you! I would always catch bits and pieces of Biggest Loser, but it never made the TiVo list. Thintervention definitely makes the list of shows to record... Hopefully, you can check it out online somehow.
About your lemon water tip... My mom does this every morning. To make it easier, she will fresh squeeze 10 or so lemons at once and then put the juice into an ice cube tray and freeze it so that in the morning she can just put one cube in her glass of water!
@Michelle~ That is a genius idea!! I'm going to have to try that! You can bet I will be drinking my lemon water at work in the mornings! I have been enjoying hot lemon water in the morning for the past week... love it.
